My time in college has been an enjoyable experience and I have learned new skills and met new people. The class I'm in  this year is good and everyone gets on which creates a good  environment to work in. The lectures are really good at teaching us a alot about make up. I'm updating the basic skills I have when it comes to  Make-up. I wasn't that confident about meeting new people. But as the class has a good environment which makes it easier to talk to new people.

CFE

the CFE helps me in my college cures because I have motivation to reach the higher standards of achievement, openness to new thinking and ideas.

I have self-respect, a sense of physical, mental and emotional well-being, secure values and beliefs and ambition.

I have respect for others, commitment to participate responsibly in political, economic, social and cultural life.

I have an enterprising attitude, resilience, self-reliance.

halloween characters

 IT
I chose the clown from IT because I think that it would be good because it is a simple clown and you could challenge yourself by adding in some more details.

 trick or treat
I chose this look because I think it would be hard to re-create because you need to make it look as if the persons face is decomposing  need to make it look as if they have a sack over their head.

lobster
I chose a lobster because it is not the normal look for Halloween you would paint the face red and add on a few wee dark lines to make it look like the shell.

Different skin types

If you have a client with sensitive skin you need to use a powder and not a liquid because it is less likely to cause problems for the client. Don't use waterproof cosmetics because when it gets taken off it can also remove sebum, the oily substance made by the sebaceous gland in the skin. You should throw out old cosmetics because the old make-up could become spoiled or contaminated. Use black-coloured eyeliner pencil, mascara and use a eyebrow fillers. Stick to earth tone colours for the eyeshadow, make sure you use products that have a SPF of 15 or more, use products that have no more than 10 ingredients.

If you have a client with oily skin you need to use a oil free foundation, eyeliner and mascara. Use a powder to take the shine away.

If you have a client with dry skin use a liquid foundation, apply small dots and blend it into your skin using a makeup sponge. Concealers that are liquid or creamy suit dry skin. Concealers can be used to hide birthmarks, dark spots, pimples and scars. Do not apply concealer under the eyes as it might highlight the dark circles. For dry skin makeup, choose a concealer that is a shade lighter than the foundation you use. Select creamy eye shadows and eyeliner. Use mascara and brow cosmetics of your choice. Powder and cheek stains do not suit dry skin type. Use a balm or salve. Over this, apply lip gloss or moisturizing lipstick.
